On behalf of the Organising Committee, we would like to invite you to attend the 24th Salt Water Intrusion and 4th Asia-Pacific Coastal Aquifer Management Meetings in Cairns, Queensland to be held from 4-8 July, 2016.
The Salt Water Intrusion Meeting (SWIM) has been very successful in bringing together specialists, water managers and students, to exchange ideas and discuss problems and solutions to saline groundwater problems in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The conference has a long history (1968-present) and is internationally recognised as the world-leading meeting for coastal hydrogeologists (see http://www.swim-site.org/).
The Asia-Pacific Coastal Aquifer Management Meeting (APCAMM) provides a specialized forum for scientists, engineers and water resource managers and planners to share their problems and ideas on the management of coastal groundwater, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
The SWIM conference is internationally recognised as the world-leading meeting for coastal hydrogeologists. APCAMM has grown to be the leading meeting of hydrogeologists in the Asia-Pacific region, and together, the SWIM-APCAMM is expected to unite coastal hydrogeologists from all avenues of the discipline, eager to share knowledge and develop networks with colleagues from across the globe.
Join us for five days of thought-provoking discussion, information-sharing, strategising and problem solving, as well as some great social events and networking.
We are looking forward to creating a stimulating program as well as an engaging space for you to network, reconnect with colleagues and meet new people. Please continue to refer back to this website as further conference details are announced.
We look forward to welcoming you in Cairns in 2016.
