Dear Colleagues, 

The second biennial Palliative Care Nurses Australia Conference will be held in Adelaide, South Australia, from September 12-13, 2008. 

Palliative Care Nurses Australia (PCNA) is the national organisation established in 2005 to promote palliative care nursing.  The first conference was held in Melbourne in September 2006 and was a great success, with 250 delegates from all states and territories.

The second biennial national conference will feature two days of presentations and displays and will provide a forum to discuss innovations, issues and recent advances in palliative care nursing. Dr Mary Vachon associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Public Health Sciences at the University of Toronto, will deliver the keynote address. 

The Conference will be held at the Hilton Adelaide in the centre of the city and adjacent to Adelaide's theatre and restaurant districts.
