Indigenous Health Services Workshop Tandanya. National Aboriginal
Cultural Institute
253 Grenfell Street Adelaide
Sunday, 4 December, 2011 12 noon to 5pm (please note this Worshop is for Indigenous
conference delegates only).
The organizers of the 7th Health Services and Policy
Research Conference are committed to implementing strategies and processes
that will contribute to a reduction in health disparities between Indigenous
and non-Indigenous peoples. As part of this commitment, we are hosting a
pre-conference workshop for all Indigenous researchers, policy makers, and
community members who will be attending this year’s conference. The
workshop will provide an opportunity for Indigenous conference goers to
network and prepare for the conference. The program will feature
Indigenous speakers who are leading the way in health services research in
Australia and New Zealand. There will also be sessions that focus on
Indigenous health priorities with opportunities for Indigenous peoples to
share information and learn from one another.
All Indigenous peoples who
plan on attending the HSR Conference are encouraged to
register for this
very important workshop.
The workshop is supported by the Conference Committee
and registration is free. Lunch will be provided. There is a free city
shuttle bus that goes to the venue.
Details of additional worshops will be posted when they become available.
