Invitation from the Convenor
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the 2012
Children's Book Council of Australia Multi Storied Conference
on 17 to 19 May 2012, in Adelaide, South Australia. The Conference
will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, which is located on the
banks of the River Torrens and within easy walking distance of
accommodation, restaurants, entertainment and major retail precincts.
The Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) is a volunteer run, not for profit, organisation that was established in 1945 and comprises branches of individual members who are passionate about children's and young adult literature. Every two years, the Conference draws together leading decision makers, thinkers and practitioners to discuss and debate key issues. These are explored through a series of plenary addresses, panel discussions and presentations. The 2012 Conference promises to be a vibrant and exciting program.
