Instructions for Authors of Accepted Papers

To prepare and submit the camera-ready paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings, authors must perform ALL the subsequent activities:

The conference proceedings will be included in the IEEE Conference Publications Program for post conference sales and made available online through IEEE Xplore®, the IEEE’s premier online delivery vehicle. As such, it is important that your camera-ready paper complies with IEEE’s new submission standards for IEEE Xplore®. Some guidelines to meet the submission standards are provided in the author’s kit below.  More information on IEEE’s new submission standards can be found in http://www.ieee.org/confstandards

Prepare the final manuscript according to the guidelines given below. Please, follow them carefully to ensure inclusion of your paper in the proceedings.

2. The author’s kit contains the following files:

  • Author’s guidelines:  Readme.pdf

  • Sample paper:  samplems.pdf

  • Copyright form: IEEECopyrightForm.pdf 

3. Please adhere to the stipulated Author's guidelines (Readme.pdf) as strictly as possible.   

 

REMEMBER: The camera-ready paper should not exceed six (6) pages. Papers that are longer than 6 pages will be charged an over-length fee of AUD$100 per page.

Whenever possible, prepare the electronic version of the final manuscript (camera-ready paper) using IEEE PDF eXpress. This is to ensure that the format complies with IEEE’s new submission standards for IEEE Xplore®.  PDF files generated using your own tools MUST be verified for compliance with IEEE Proceeding using the PDF eXpress. Instructions to use IEEE PDF eXpress are in the Readme.pdf file in the author’s kit.

The IEEE Copyright Form is in the author’s kit and is also made available in various formats at IEEE Copyright Form Page. 

·         Fill in the paper title and the names of all authors. In the "IEEE Publication Title" type "2008 Australasian Telecommunications Networks and Applications Conference".

·         Sign your name in the space for "Author/Authorized Agent for Joint Authors" or in the space for "Authorized Signature". Type your name below your signature.

·         Type the date in the "Date" field.

·         If applicable, the "U.S. Government Employee Certification" and the "Crown Copyright Certification" should be also filled and signed.

·         NO PAPER WILL BE PUBLISHED WITHOUT THE SIGNED IEEE COPYRIGHT FORM.

Register for the Conference and make payment

 

You can only upload your camera-ready paper after you have registered for the Conference.  Click here to register if you have not already done so.

 

NO PAPER WILL BE PUBLISHED WITHOUT THE AUTHOR'S REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT.

Upload the camera-ready paper and the IEEE Copyright Form
  
Once you have registered, you may proceed to submit your camera-ready paper and the IEEE Copyright Form.

 

Final manuscripts for accepted papers must be uploaded using the EDAS system. The easiest way to do this is to click on the link to your paper in the acceptance email. Once your paper's EDAS page has loaded, you will see an upload button, in the last row of the yellow table at the top of the page. Click this button and follow the instructions. If you are asked for a registration code, put in any random number.  

 

For an accepted paper to be published in the proceedings an IEEE copyright form must be submitted by 29 September 2008. Please fax or email the completed and signed IEEE copyright forms to atnac2008@plevin.com.au or fax +61 8 8379 8177.
  
A maximum of two (2) camera-ready papers is allowed for each registration. Authors with more than two papers accepted for the conference will need to make additional registration(s).
  
The camera-ready paper will be published in the proceedings only if it is accompanied by the registration and payment of fees for at least one of the authors. Only Full (not Student) registration  fees will be allowed.

The Closing Date for authors to register for the conference is 29 September 2008.
The Closing Date for uploading of camera-ready paper and copyright form is 29 September 2008.
