Update 31 October: Selected presentations can now be downloaded from the program link.

Where do children really get their calories? How are childhood eating and drinking behaviours formed? How are these behaviours changed? What is the role of physical activity? Of the government? Of the food and drink industry? Of schools? Of parents?

And most important: What kinds of programs are currently working to reverse the stubborn upward trends of overweight and obese young people?

These are just some of the tough questions the experts will tackle during the unique Adelaide Food Summit on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 October 2007 at the South Australian Museum.

The Adelaide Food Summit brings together food authorities from interstate and overseas, as well as local community members actively working towards improving the health and nutrition of our youth.  View the Summit program for the list of speakers.

The Adelaide Food Summit is an associated event of Tasting Australia. The Summit is owned and managed by Events South Australia, the major events division of the South Australian Tourism Commission.
